Tysons, VA, January 14, 2019 – NTELX, a leading provider of decision management and analytics solutions to U.S. Government Agencies and other public policy organizations, today announced the appointment of Paul Wedeking as its next Chief Executive Officer effective January 14, 2019. Current NTELX Chairman, Founder and CEO, Rob Quartel, will assume the role of Executive Chairman of the Board and remain active in helping set the strategic direction of the company.
“Bringing Paul onboard marks a critical and exciting transition for NTELX…,” said Quartel. “We made the decision last year to change the strategic direction of the company and move from developing and implementing decision management solutions primarily for governmental clients to productizing our technology for the commercial market. In the summer, we soft-launched our new digital assessment platform, IDMX, targeted at serving professional services firms and trade association customers, and are very happy with its acceptance in the marketplace. Paul has worked with us since the soft launch, and we are pleased today that he has agreed to bring his experience to bear as our new CEO…”, added Mr. Quartel.
Quartel and co-founders, Bruce Finland, Dhiren Patel and Rob Rosenberg, started the company in late 1999.
“I am honored and excited to join the NTELX team as its next CEO…,” said Paul Wedeking. “NTELX is a dynamic and experienced organization with deep expertise in decision management and analytics and has a proven track record in developing solutions that provide clients with the insights, observations and guidance they need to make better decisions. By building on this rich heritage, I am confident that we will be able to help professional services firms and trade associations digitally transform their distinctive expertise to better serve clients and members, competitively re-position themselves in the market and accelerate their own profitable revenue growth…,” added Mr. Wedeking.
Mr. Wedeking is an experienced executive and has held senior leadership positions at IBM, A.T. Kearney, Blue Ridge Partners and AT&T, among others; and has throughout his career advised start-up and emerging technology companies on top-line revenue growth strategies. Paul received his BA in Political Science and International Relations from St. Andrews University, his MA in Management from the Peter Drucker School of Management at
